  3. Thank you for downloading the shareware-evaluation copy of Browse98.
  4. Your copy is freely distributable.

  6. BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

  8. Browse98 displays Multiple Websites on one screen, while connecting to
  9. up to 200 Active URL addresses at once. You may Import your Internet
  10. Explorer Bookmarks into a "Favorite Websites Database", and Pre-select
  11. sites that will be navigated as a group. 
  12.  
  13. 200 Active URL Connections: Rather than continually going Back and
  14. Forward, you can retain an Active Connection with many Websites at
  15. once. While a Search Engine is "anchored" on one Browser, clicking a
  16. hyperlink will cause the navigation to occur on a separate Browser.
  17.  
  18. Website Database: Each Website Record includes a Group, Title, URL,
  19. and Remarks. The Database is displayed on a Grid, where Website Records
  20. may be Added, Deleted, Edited, Copied, Moved, or Found.

  22. Pre-selected Navigation: Any group of Website Records may be navigated
  23. as a "batch", so you can perform other tasks on your computer while you
  24. are waiting.

  26. REQUIREMENTS AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  28. Browse98 will run on Win 95 or NT 4.0. Your computer must have an
  29. Active Internet Connection before you can use the program.

  31. The Browse98 program consists of the following eight files, which you
  32. may unzip to any directory:
  33.  
  34. 1) Browse98.exe        The Program
  35. 2) Browse98.hlp        Help File
  36. 3) MSFlxGrd.ocx        Grid Control
  37. 4) Comcat.dll        Used by the Grid Control
  38. 5) Default.bro        Default data file (which you will modify)
  39. 6) Tutorial.bro        Original Default data file (do not modify)
  40. 7) ReadMe.txt        The file you are reading now
  41. 8) Browse98Tutorial.htm    Tutorial is displayed during the first usage
